"Human" arrived as a download in July 2016, the calling card that introduced Rag'n'Bone Man, and seven months later it gave its name to his debut album. The British singer wrote it with Jamie Hartman, Two Inch Punch produced and Manny Marroquin mixed, and it lands somewhere between soul, blues and a stomping rock record, every inch of it built to carry that voice.
It turned out to be a music supervisor's dream. Amazon Prime made it the theme for Oasis in 2017 and Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan in 2018, it drove the launch trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda and the trailer for Thank You for Your Service, it turned up in Inhumans, Into the Badlands, Suits and Ash vs Evil Dead, and it scored a Super Bowl LVII spot for the "He Gets Us" campaign. In France it went diamond.
