Community guidelines

Member lists

• Lists are about music: songs, artists and the countdowns that ranked them. Keep titles and notes on topic.
• No hate, harassment, threats or sexual content, including in titles, notes and profile text.
• No spam or promotion. Links in profiles and descriptions are only available to trusted contributors, and every link carries rel="ugc nofollow".
• Do not post other people’s personal information.
• One account per person. Do not create accounts to boost likes or poll results.

Contributing countdowns

• Send only countdowns that a station actually broadcast or published. Never reconstruct a list from memory or fill gaps with guesses.
• Say where the list came from (a recording, a station page, an archived copy, a newspaper) so it can be checked.
• Corrections are welcome anywhere; include a source whenever you can.

Polls

Polls are open to members with a confirmed email address and an account older than the poll’s minimum age. One ballot per person. Ballots that look coordinated or automated are excluded from the count.

What happens when rules are broken

Content can be hidden from search results, removed, or the account restricted or suspended. Anyone can report a list or profile with the report button on the page. If you think a decision was wrong, contact us.
