“Days Are Forgotten” by Kasabian

"Days Are Forgotten" led the charge for Velociraptor!, Kasabian's fourth album, in 2011, and it struts in like the band owns the street. Sergio Pizzorno wrote it and produced it with Dan the Automator, and the pair load it with swagger: a stomping, hip-shaking beat, a chant-along hook and just enough woozy strangeness to keep it from turning into a plain terrace singalong. It entered the UK chart at 28.

The black-and-white video strands the band in a bare room with instruments sketched in white pencil, Tom Meighan singing into a drawn microphone while the soundwaves blow the gear apart and everything finally unravels into op-art geometry. A Z-Trip remix featuring LL Cool J became the theme for WWE's TLC pay-per-view, and in 2026 a version sung by Pizzorno opened the TV series Young Sherlock.
