“Molecules” by Atlas Genius

"Molecules" came out in August 2015 on Inanimate Objects, and Atlas Genius built most of it in-house. Keith Jeffery sings it and has his hands on nearly everything else, guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and percussion; Michael Jeffery shares the drums and percussion and adds backing vocals; Frederik Thaae chips in on bass, guitar and keys and co-produced it with the band. The three of them wrote it together.

The extra polish came from outside: Belief and Big Data added production, and Manny Marroquin and Andrew Maury mixed it, which goes some way toward explaining why the thing gleams like a showroom floor. A small crowd of backing singers, Carrie Keagan and Alan Wilkis among them, fill out the harmonies.
