"Techno Fan" was a 2011 single from the Wombats, the fourth pulled from their album This Modern Glitch after "Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)", "Jump Into the Fog" and "Anti-D", and a bright, restless piece of indie rock. It came out as a digital EP in the UK with three b-sides, "Avalanche", "Trampolining" and "Shock Goodbyes and P45's".
It stalled at number 60 on the UK Singles Chart, but the song found other ways in: it played in the background of Fifa 11, and when easyJet used it in a television ad it climbed back onto the chart at 84.
