“Dracula” by Tame Impala

"Dracula", the third single from Deadbeat, Tame Impala's fifth album, arrived in September 2025 with Kevin Parker leaning all the way into the dance floor. It's disco and electropop through and through, a slinky, nocturnal song about finding comfort in the dark, written by Parker with Sarah Aarons and produced by Parker, with Loren Humphrey adding production and recording it alongside Ella Brownstone. Critics were split, loving the hooks and grumbling about the words, but it still became the first Tame Impala song to reach the Billboard Hot 100. Julian Klincewicz's video, steeped in Western Australia's rave and bush doof culture, picked up a nomination at the AACTA Awards.

Then a February 2026 remix with the South Korean singer Jennie took off on TikTok, reaching number two on the Billboard Global 200 and number five on the Hot 100, and pulled the original to new heights around the world.
