“Fuck You” by Cee-Lo Green

"Fuck You" was the lead single from The Lady Killer, Cee-Lo Green's third solo album, released in August 2010 and cleaned up for radio as "Forget You". Green wrote it in collaboration with Bruno Mars and his production team the Smeezingtons plus Brody Brown, with Philip Lawrence and Ari Levine also on the credits.

Critics lined up behind it, and so did the rest of the world: it went top ten in thirteen countries, hit number one in the UK and stopped at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. It also picked up a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year, not bad for a single whose title most stations couldn't say out loud.
