“Red Hands” by Walk Off the Earth

"Red Hands" was the second single from Walk Off the Earth's R.E.V.O., going out in November 2012, and it gave the Canadian band a genuine hit on both sides of the border: No. 9 on the Canadian Hot 100, a higher peak than the single before it, and the top spot on Billboard's Adult Alternative Songs chart in the US.

Band members Ryan Marshall, Gianni "Luminati" Nicassio and Sarah Blackwood wrote it with Tawgs Salter, who co-produced it with Luminati and the band; Salter, Luminati and Justin Koop recorded it. Luminati has said listeners are free to find their own meaning in it, but that it began as a song about owning your mistakes and standing firm when things fall apart, instead of pointing fingers at everyone around you.
