"Los Ageless" was the second single from MASSEDUCTION, St. Vincent's fifth album, out on Loma Vista in 2017, and it's a sleek, sneering slab of new wave she produced with Jack Antonoff. The title looks like a companion to "New York", the single before it, but the sound couldn't be further away: flat, thwacking drum machines, a rubbery, squelching synth-bass and fuzzed-out guitar smeared over the top, all building to a feral peak. Stereogum's Tom Breihan heard it as something she had never tried before.
Willo Perron directed the video, in which she lampoons the lives of Los Angeles socialites, yoga classes and plastic surgery included, in gruesome shades of pastel.
