"I Feel You" led the way for Collider, Sam Roberts' fourth album, and it marked a small but telling change: the first single to carry the name Sam Roberts Band rather than Roberts alone. It went to Canadian radio at the end of February 2011 and hit iTunes Canada on March 8.
Roberts wrote it by himself and sings it, with Brian Deck adding extra percussion. Dave Pawsey directed the video, which premiered on May 25, 2011, and puts the band onstage in the middle of a light show, a fitting frame for the first song out under the full-band banner.
