"Cocoon" was Milky Chance's opening move for their second album, Blossom: the German duo put it out as a digital-download lead single through Lichtdicht in November 2016, well before the full record arrived in 2017.
They kept it close to home. Milky Chance wrote the song themselves and produced it together with Tobias Kuhn. For the video, they took the song to Latvia and filmed it there, and it went up on YouTube the same day the single came out.
