Blossom by Milky Chance
Blossom is an album by Milky Chance, released in 2017. 2 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 8 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Cocoon”, on 5 lists with a best position of #12.
Blossom, the second album from Milky Chance, came out on 17 March 2017, and the band from Kassel had a lot to live up to: their debut, Sadnecessary, had sent "Stolen Dance" to the top of the charts in several countries. Singer and guitarist Clemens Rehbein and bassist and percussionist Philipp Dausch didn't tear up the formula so much as widen it, and this was the first album to feature guitarist Antonio Greger.
The sound is still that sleepy, loose-limbed folk shuffle, Rehbein's raspy, drowsy voice riding the groove, but there's more muscle in the playing behind him now. "Cocoon" led the way as the first single.
