"Over Everything" comes from Lotta Sea Lice, the album Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile made together and released in October 2017, and though Vile wrote it, it has the feel of two old friends idling through a long afternoon with nowhere to be. Barnett and Vile both play guitar, with Mick Turner adding a third, Vile throwing in synthesizer, Rob Laakso on bass and Jim White on drums.
Callum Barter recorded and mixed it, and the result leaves that unhurried tangle of guitars plenty of room to breathe, wandering where it likes and taking its sweet time getting there.
