O My Heart, styled with a little heart symbol for a title, was the second album from Vancouver indie rockers Mother Mother, released on Last Gang Records on September 16, 2008. It followed Touch Up, the reworked, retitled version of the self-titled debut they had first put out under the name Mother, and it has a wiry, jumpy energy: nervy guitars, stacked vocals, songs that twitch and lurch instead of settling into a groove. Debra-Jean Creelman was on keyboards and vocals then, with Jeremy Page on bass.
Videos went out for the title track, "Body of Years" and "Hayloft", but the album's second life came more than a decade later. In late 2020 "Hayloft", "Arms Tonite", "Wrecking Ball" and "Burning Pile" blew up on TikTok, the band's streams surged, and "Hayloft" got a sequel, "Hayloft II", on the deluxe edition of 2021's Inside.
