WARM by Jeff Tweedy
WARM is an album by Jeff Tweedy, released in 2018. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 1 countdown appearance in total. The biggest is “Some Birds”, on 1 list with a best position of #59.
WARM, Jeff Tweedy's second studio album, arrived on November 30, 2018, on dBpm Records, and it's his first solo record made entirely of new songs. It landed shortly after his memoir, Let's Go (So We Can Get Back), from a man whose road ran from Belleville, Illinois, through Uncle Tupelo to fronting Wilco.
The sound lives up to the title: unhurried, soft-focus and close to the bone, that weathered voice right up against the mic, with just enough static and squiggle around the edges to remind you who led Wilco through Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. "Some Birds" is the one with a spring in its step.
