About 95.5 KLOS
KLOS (95.5 FM) is a commercial rock station licensed to Los Angeles and serving the Greater Los Angeles area, owned by Meruelo Media; it has broadcast rock music in some form since 1969. The station signed on as KECA-FM on December 30, 1947, became KABC-FM in 1954, and in early 1969 adopted ABC's automated progressive rock format "Love". By 1988 KLOS had become the leading album rock station in Los Angeles; Wikipedia now lists its format as mainstream rock.
