About KFMA
KFMA is a commercial FM station serving the Tucson metropolitan area, owned by Lotus Communications. It flipped to alternative rock as KFMA in November 1995 on 92.1 MHz, after earlier easy listening, Top 40, rock and adult album alternative formats on that facility. On March 21, 2014, KFMA moved to 102.1 MHz (licensed to Oro Valley, Arizona), and that year it shifted to an active rock playlist as "Rock 102.1".
