About X103.9
KCXX (103.9 FM), licensed to Lake Arrowhead, California, was the Inland Empire's alternative rock station "X103.9" from January 1, 1995, when it ended a simulcast with KACE and flipped to alternative; the first song played was Nine Inch Nails' "Closer". The station was owned by All Pro Broadcasting, controlled by Pro Football Hall of Fame member Willie Davis. On December 22, 2015, citing falling ratings, it dropped alternative after playing Slipknot's "Snuff" and became rhythmic hot AC "Hot 103.9" under the call sign KHTI.
