"Sick of You" sits third on Scumdogs of the Universe, GWAR's second album, which Metal Blade Records put out in 1990 with Ron Goudie producing, Joe Horner engineering and Robert Feist handling the mix. It's heavy metal played strictly for laughs: a lyric of cartoonishly petty loathing aimed at somebody the singer simply can't stand, hung on a structure so basic you could learn it on the first spin.
That simplicity is exactly why it stuck. It turned into a fan favorite and the song the band has played live more often than any other, and Dave Brockie named it his favorite GWAR song, largely because it usually meant the night's show was done.
