Future Classic put out "On Top" as the first single from Flume's self-titled 2012 debut album, and it hands the vocal to the American rapper T.Shirt. Flume and George Stevens Tryfonos share the writing credit. It peaked at 57 in Australia in March 2013 and was certified gold, and a video directed by Angus Lee Forbes followed that June.
It has had a busy life away from the charts as well: it was used in the film Moto 6 and in the video game MLB 14: The Show, and it became the sound that announces a donation on the Twitch streams of xQcOW.
