"Sexy to Someone" arrived in July 2024 on Clairo's Charm, and it sounds lovingly handmade. Clairo produced it with Leon Michels and sings lead and plays piano, while Michels fills in the corners with flute, Mellotron, organ, synthesizer, piano and percussion. Nick Movshon's electric bass and Homer Steinweiss's drums give it a warm, loose-limbed pocket, and Paul Castelluzzo adds a curl of slide guitar. Clairo, Michels, Movshon and Steinweiss share the writing credit, and the whole thing has the easy, lived-in feel of a take caught live in a small room.
