"Feel So Close" was the second single from 18 Months, Calvin Harris's third studio album, and it's one-man-band work: the Scottish DJ wrote, arranged, produced and played it himself, and he sings it too. That last part was a change of heart. Harris had said he was done singing at his shows, but the song needed words and a voice to stand on its own, so he stepped back up to the mic.
It paid off. The track entered the UK Singles Chart at number two, his sixth top-10 single under his own name, and became only his second Hot 100 entry in America, after his turn on Rihanna's "We Found Love". By the end of 2012 it had sold more than 2.17 million copies in the US.
