Bedouin Soundclash wrote "St. Andrews" as a band, and it sits on Street Gospels, the Canadian reggae outfit's third album, which came out in the UK through SideOneDummy on August 20, 2007, a day before its Dine Alone Records release. Darryl Jenifer produced it, and Wade McNeil of Alexisonfire steps in as a guest vocalist.
The album around it did the band proud at home, debuting at number two on the Canadian Albums Chart with more than 8,000 copies sold in its first week, then going gold in Canada in 2008 for sales of 50,000.
