“Into the Fire” by Asking Alexandria

"Into the Fire" opened the campaign for Asking Alexandria's self-titled fifth album, and the headline was the voice: it was the band's first single with Danny Worsnop on lead vocals since he left in 2015. He had come back in October 2016, after Denis Stoff's exit, and Sumerian Records sent the song out in September 2017.

Ben Bruce and James Cassells wrote it, Matt Good produced and engineered with Jonathan Davis as co-producer, and Taylor Larson mixed; Bruce and Cameron Liddell play guitar, Sam Bettley bass and Cassells drums. Loudwire singled out its punchy, down-tuned churn and heavy-handed drumming, with Worsnop singing clean and melodic over the top, and synthesized "whoa-oh" effects float across parts of it, a heavy song with one eye on the singalong. It also turned up in a trailer for the racing game MX vs. ATV All Out.
