The Mountain Will Fall by DJ Shadow
The Mountain Will Fall is an album by DJ Shadow, released in 2016. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 2 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Nobody Speak”, on 2 lists with a best position of #50.
The Mountain Will Fall, DJ Shadow's fifth studio album, arrived on Mass Appeal Records on June 24, 2016, two decades after his debut album, Endtroducing....., first came out. He still builds tracks in dense layers from piles of samples, but this record sounds restless and wide-eyed rather than nostalgic, with heavy, cinematic beats and plenty of hard left turns.
"Nobody Speak" is the jaw-dropper, a swaggering, spaghetti-western slab of hip-hop that stomps around like it owns the saloon. A tenth anniversary edition followed on July 10, 2026.
