Fever, the third studio album from Bridgend, Wales metallers Bullet for My Valentine, hit shops on 26 April 2010 in the UK and a day later in the US, 11 tracks produced by Don Gilmore. The lineup was Matthew Tuck on vocals and rhythm guitar, Michael Paget on lead guitar, Jason James on bass and Michael "Moose" Thomas on drums.
The band have always worn their love of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer openly, and Fever polishes that heritage into big, clean metalcore hooks, with Paget's solos slicing through the gloss. "Your Betrayal" is the standout. It became their best-charting record, entering the Billboard 200 at No. 3 on first-week sales of 71,000 in the US and topping Billboard's Rock and Alternative charts. It has since sold over 600,000 copies worldwide and gone gold in the UK in 2013 and New Zealand in 2025.
