AB III by Alter Bridge
AB III is an album by Alter Bridge, released in 2010. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 7 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Isolation”, on 7 lists with a best position of #9.
AB III, Alter Bridge's third studio album, arrived on October 8, 2010, and it's the record where the Orlando band stopped playing it safe. Michael Baskette produced again, and the songs push into darker, more dynamic and progressive territory than before, loosely strung together as a concept album about wrestling with faith.
Myles Kennedy's voice climbs and cracks with real desperation, while Mark Tremonti's lead guitar, Brian Marshall's bass and Scott Phillips' drums build walls of riff and crash around him. It was also their first on Roadrunner, making it the third straight album on a different label, though in North America the band put it out themselves via Capitol. Lead single "Isolation" became their most successful yet, topping Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, and critics were full of praise.
