About KQRS
KQRS-FM (92.5 FM, branded 92 KQRS) is a commercial radio station licensed to Golden Valley, Minnesota and owned by Cumulus Media, serving the Minneapolis-Saint Paul market from studios in the Como district of Minneapolis. It signed on in 1962 as KEVE-FM, became KQRS in 1964, and was long known as a classic rock station before relaunching in April 2025 with a mix of '90s alternative and classic rock. Over Memorial Day weekend it has run the "KQ 500," an annual countdown of its Top 500 classic rock songs of all time.
