“Clouds” by Zach Sobiech

"Clouds" was Zach Sobiech's first single under his own name, and his only one, released digitally in December 2012 before it landed on Fix Me Up, the debut EP he put out with his band A Firm Handshake. He wrote it and sang it himself, and the money it makes goes to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund, part of the Children's Cancer Research Fund.

Its reach grew fastest around his death: 25,000 copies sold before he died, another 30,000 on the day itself, and 156,000 by the time it entered the Hot 100. It charted in the US, the UK, Canada, France and Belgium, and it has racked up 20 million views on YouTube.
