"Fully Completely" is the title track of the Tragically Hip's third album, released in October 1992, and one of six singles the record threw off. The band wrote it together, all five of them: Gord Downie singing, Rob Baker and Paul Langlois on electric guitars, Gord Sinclair on bass and Johnny Fay on drums.

The album marked a change of hands at the controls. After two records with Don Smith, which had done well in Canada without cracking America, the Hip went with Chris Tsangarides, who had just finished an album for Concrete Blonde and was keen to work with them; MCA liked him for his knack for a sound American radio would play. He produced and engineered this one, and it's a big-shouldered, driving thing, Downie out front and the guitars locked tight behind him.
