“Sunday Driver” by The Raconteurs

"Sunday Driver" was the Raconteurs' way of announcing they were back. Brendan Benson and Jack White wrote it, and it first surfaced as one half of a double A-side with "Now That You're Gone", timed to the tenth anniversary of Consolers of the Lonely and its reissue; both songs got videos shot just a week before they came out. It then took its place on Help Us Stranger, the band's third album and their first in 11 years, out on Third Man Records in June 2019.

Like the rest of that record, it was produced by the band themselves, with Joshua V. Smith engineering, and Vance Powell mixed it together with them. It's a comeback with the handbrake off.
