Rüfüs, the Australian alternative dance trio, made "Say a Prayer for Me" the fourth single pulled from Bloom, their second album, releasing it on 13 January 2016, and it finds the band at their most unhurried. Music Feeds' Tom Williams called it super chill, pointing to its crisp grooves, warm synths and layered vocals. It only got as high as 58 on the ARIA chart, but it was certified gold in Australia in 2017.
Toby + Pete directed the video, released on 28 January, and it's a neat joke about scale: the three of them play their instruments deep in the woods to an audience of nobody, walled in by a huge laser rig overhead, with lights blazing and fog curling along the ground.
