"Voices" comes off Graveyard Shift, the fourth Motionless in White album, from 2017, and it went out in May 2018 as the sixth and last single from that record. Chris "Motionless" Cerulli wrote it with Joshua Landry, Johnny Andrews, Drew Fulk and Josh Strock and co-produced it with Fulk, and it's about the racket inside your own head: the voices that won't shut up, the demons you have to keep wrestling.
The band plays it at full metalcore tilt, with Ricky "Horror" Olson and Ryan Sitkowski on guitars, Devin "Ghost" Sola on bass, Tom Hane on drums and Josh Balz laying synths and keys over the top, and Josh Wilbur mixed it. The video, directed by Jeremy Danger and Travis Shinn, has the band members grappling with their own split personalities.
