"Stardust" was the closing single from Lux, the 2013 debut by American alternative metal band Gemini Syndrome on Warner Bros. Records, and it's a brooding, heavy-hearted piece of alt-metal. It came at the end of a run that also included "Pleasure and Pain", "Basement" and "Left of Me", and it reached No. 19 on the US Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
Kevin Churko produced it, with Kane Churko on additional engineering, and Kevin Churko shares the writing credit with Aaron Nordstrom, Rich Juzwick, Brian Steele Medina, Alessandro 'AP' Paveri and Mike Salerno. Nordstrom takes the lead vocal while the other four stack up the backing voices behind him.
