Lux, the debut album from Los Angeles alternative metal band Gemini Syndrome, came out on Warner Bros. on September 10, 2013, with Kevin Churko producing. It's big, glossy and crunching, with chugging riffs, pounding drums and vocals that swing from a croon to a roar.
Some of it was old news to early fans: "Basement", "Resurrection", "Take This" and "Syndrome" had first appeared on a hard-to-find EP in January 2011. "Pleasure and Pain", "Basement", "Left of Me" and "Stardust" all went out as singles, and "Stardust", the last of them, climbed to number 19 on the US Mainstream Rock chart. Memento Mori was next.
