“Keep You Close” by dEUS

"Keep You Close" is the title song of the sixth dEUS album, released in 2011, and the Belgian band dressed it up far beyond the usual rock setup. David Bottrill produced, with Adam Noble co-producing, engineering and mixing, and the credits bring in the Marc Steylaert Ensemble on strings, Piet Van Bockstal on oboe and Els Becu on marimba and vibraphone, with Esmé Bos singing backup. Tom Barman wrote the words; the music is credited to the band.

The album was an instant hit at home, certified gold in Belgium on its first day for 10,000 copies sold and platinum, past 20,000, by October 7.
