More Scared of You Than You Are of Me is an album by The Smith Street Band, released in 2017. 3 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 3 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Birthdays”, on 1 list with a best position of #21.
More Scared of You Than You Are of Me, the fourth album from Melbourne's The Smith Street Band, came out on 7 April 2017, with Jeff Rosenstock producing. Wil Wagner leads from the front on vocals and guitar, Lee Hartney plays the other guitar, Michael Fitzgerald is on bass and Chris Cowburn on drums, and the band that took its name from a Melbourne street sounds bigger and brighter here, all shout-along choruses and ragged, heart-on-sleeve punk.
"Death to the Lads", "Birthdays" and "Passiona" were the songs that carried it onto the countdowns, and at the J Awards of 2017 it was up for Australian Album of the Year.
