Castles by Lissie
Castles is an album by Lissie, released in 2018. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 9 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Best Days”, on 9 lists with a best position of #28.
Castles, Lissie's fourth studio album, came out through Cooking Vinyl on March 23, 2018, two years after the well-received My Wild West and a good way down the road from her major-label start at Columbia. The singer-songwriter born Elisabeth Maurus sent it into the world with four singles: "Boyfriend" first, then "Blood & Muscle", "Best Days" and "Love Blows".
It's a big-hearted, roomy record with her voice pushed right up front, the songs built to open up and swell rather than sit still. Critics were kind to it, and it holds a score of 76 on Metacritic. Carving Canyons followed in 2022.
