Smoke + Mirrors by Imagine Dragons
Smoke + Mirrors is an album by Imagine Dragons, released in 2015. 2 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 19 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “I Bet My Life”, on 12 lists with a best position of #8.
Smoke + Mirrors, Imagine Dragons' second album, came out on Interscope and KIDinaKORNER on February 17, 2015. The Las Vegas band recorded it during 2014 in their home studio, producing it themselves with English hip-hop producer Alex da Kid, and Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman pile on the thunder: pounding drums, echoing guitars and Reynolds hollering over the top.
Following the monster success of Night Visions and "Radioactive" was never going to be easy, and reviews were mixed. The fans didn't care. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, their only album to do so, and topped the charts in the UK and Canada too. "I Bet My Life", "Gold" and "Shots" were the singles, with "Shots" and "I Bet My Life" both making the countdowns.
