Continued Silence EP by Imagine Dragons

Continued Silence, Imagine Dragons' fifth EP, came out on Valentine's Day 2012 through KidinaKorner and Interscope, and it works as a trailer for the Las Vegas band's debut album, Night Visions. Alex da Kid produced it at Westlake Recording Studios, Manny Marroquin and Rich Costey handled the mix, Joe LaPorta mastered it, and the band wrote every song.

The sound is arena-sized from the first thud: Dan Reynolds bellowing over booming drums, electronic grit and big, chanted hooks. "Radioactive" is the monster here, the song that went on to hold the record for the most weeks on the Hot 100, while "It's Time", released that same month as the band's debut single, and "Demons" are just as built for the rafters. Every track except "My Fault" and "Round and Round" reappeared on Night Visions, and those two turned up later on its deluxe editions.
