Spreading Rumours by Grouplove
Spreading Rumours is an album by Grouplove, released in 2013. 2 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 22 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Ways to Go”, on 19 lists with a best position of #14.
Spreading Rumours, Grouplove's second album, came out on September 17, 2013, two years after Never Trust a Happy Song and its runaway single "Tongue Tied". The five-piece still sound like a party that got out of hand in the best way: Christian Zucconi and Hannah Hooper trade and tangle lead vocals, Andrew Wessen's lead guitar and Hooper's keyboards splash on color, and Sean Gadd and Ryan Rabin keep the whole thing bouncing.
"Ways to Go", the lead single, climbed to number two on the US Alternative Airplay chart, and "I'm With You" ended up on the soundtrack of the video game FIFA 14.
