Run by AWOLNATION
Run is an album by AWOLNATION, released in 2015. 3 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 23 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)”, on 11 lists with a best position of #5.
Run, AWOLNATION's second album, came out on Red Bull Records on March 17, 2015, four years after Megalithic Symphony and "Sail" turned Aaron Bruno's Los Angeles project into a juggernaut. For all the band talk, this one is Bruno's show: he wrote every song, produced it alone and played most of the instruments himself, recording through 2013 and 2014 between Dragonfly Creek Recording in Malibu and Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles.
The result is a jittery, genre-hopping ride, the sound of one restless guy chasing every idea in his head and refusing to sand the edges off any of them. "Hollow Moon (Bad Wolf)" led the charge as the first single, announced the same day as the album itself in January, with the title track, "I Am" and "Woman Woman" among the singles that followed. A 10th anniversary reissue with six new tracks arrived in 2025.
