Awake by Alison Wonderland
Awake is an album by Alison Wonderland, released in 2018. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 1 countdown appearance in total. The biggest is “Church”, on 1 list with a best position of #31.
Awake, the second studio album from Australian producer, DJ and singer Alison Wonderland, came out through EMI on 6 April 2018, three years after her gold-selling debut Run. Alexandra Sholler sings as well as builds the tracks, and the record plays to both: heavy, bass-bruised drops cut with her own voice, often left raw and exposed instead of buried in the mix.
Four singles led the way, "Happy Place", "Church", "No" and "High", and the album went straight in at number one on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. At home, the ARIA Music Awards nominated it for Best Female Artist and Best Dance Release that year.
