"Somebody to Love Me" closed out the singles run from Record Collection, the third studio album Mark Ronson made in 2010 under the banner Mark Ronson & The Business Intl., and it puts two very different voices side by side: Boy George and Andrew Wyatt. Ronson produced and played keyboards, with Victor Axelrod on keys and percussion, Thomas Brenneck on guitar, Nick Movshon on drums and Stuart Zender on bass, while Cathy Dennis sings backup and Tom Elmhirst handled the mix.
Saam Farahmand's video plays like a home movie of a club party, stamped with the date of Boy George's 21st birthday in 1982, and none of the three singers turn up in it: Diane Kruger plays Boy George instead.
