Eric Clapton and Bobby Whitlock wrote it together and share the lead vocal, Clapton on guitar and Whitlock on organ and piano, while Carl Radle on bass and Jim Gordon on drums hold down the bottom end, both men adding percussion on top.
The album was written off as a flop at first, missing the British chart at the time and topping out at 16 in America, but it kept coming back, went gold and eventually landed in the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2000.
