"Guess" started life as one of the extra songs on the deluxe edition of Brat, Charli XCX's sixth album, then got a second life in August 2024 as a remix with Billie Eilish, released as a single from the Brat remix album. It was the fourth remix to come out of the project and Eilish's first studio collaboration in several years. Charli wrote it with Dylan Brady and Harrison Patrick Smith, The Dare produced, and Geoff Swan mixed.
The video came with a stunt: 10,000 items of underwear donated to I Support the Girls. It gave Charli her first solo chart-topper in the UK, went to number 12 on the Hot 100 and topped the charts in Australia, Ireland, Lithuania and New Zealand. It picked up a Grammy nomination along the way and won the Brit Award for Song of the Year in 2025.
