Tokio Hotel checked into Zimmer 483 ("Room 483") for their second studio album, released in Germany on 23 February 2007 through Island and Universal. The four who started the band in 2001 were all still aboard: Bill Kaulitz singing, Tom Kaulitz on guitar, Georg Listing on bass and Gustav Schäfer on drums, playing pop rock with the guitars turned up and the drama pitched sky-high.
It threw off 4 singles, "Übers Ende der Welt", "Spring nicht" and "An deiner Seite (Ich bin da)" among them, and it sold briskly, more than 375,000 copies in its first two months, with a platinum award in Austria. First copies came in a Digipak with a bonus DVD holding the "Übers Ende der Welt" video, a making-of feature, an interview and a photo gallery.
