Wonderful Wonderful by The Killers
Wonderful Wonderful is an album by The Killers, released in 2017. 2 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 29 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “The Man”, on 19 lists with a best position of #4.
Wonderful Wonderful, the Killers' fifth album, landed on Island on September 22, 2017, their first new record in five years since Battle Born. Stuart Price produced it, and it's the last album with the full core lineup in place: Brandon Flowers singing and on keys, Dave Keuning on guitar, Mark Stoermer on bass and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. on drums.
The Las Vegas band sound refreshed here, swapping heartland bombast for glittering disco-rock and moody synth textures. "The Man" is a strutting, falsetto-laced slab of disco-funk swagger, and "Run for Cover" is a breakneck, old-school Killers sprint. It became their first album to top the Billboard 200 and their fifth straight to reach number one in the UK.
