The Sun and the Moon by The Bravery
The Sun and the Moon is an album by The Bravery, released in 2007. 2 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 51 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Believe”, on 32 lists with a best position of #2.
The Sun and the Moon, the Bravery's second album, arrived in 2007 with Brendan O'Brien producing, and it sounds like a New York band reaching for bigger rooms without losing the beat. Sam Endicott sings with his heart pinned to his sleeve, Michael Zakarin's guitar and John Conway's keyboards shimmer and slash, and Mike Hindert and Anthony Burulcich keep that post-punk pulse moving. The title comes from lines in two of the songs, "Angelina" and "The Ocean".
"Believe" was the one that stuck, going gold as a single, and "Time Won't Let Me Go" gave the record its wistful side. A remixed edition, The Sun and the Moon Complete, followed in 2008.
