Peace of Mind, the third studio album from Rebelution, came out on January 10, 2012 on the band's own label, 87 Music, and it arrived in triplicate. Alongside the main record, the label and Controlled Substance Sound Labs issued an acoustic version of all twelve songs and a dub version remixed by Easy Star's Michael Goldwasser.
The band formed in Isla Vista, California, out of UC Santa Barbara, and Eric Rachmany's voice and guitar lead the way through breezy, sunlit reggae rock that sounds made for a beach bonfire. "Sky Is The Limit" was the song that reached the countdowns. The fans rewarded the band's generosity: even after half the album had been given away free in the 6 weeks before release, it sold 16,000 copies in its first week, debuted at 13 on the Billboard 200 and topped both the independent and reggae charts.
